La Clínica Dr Arquero opened in 1990. It currently has two centers, one in Madrid and the other in Vigo, in which a large team of specialists in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine work as well in other specialties such as laser treatments, anti-aging techniques, hair removal, physiotherapy or food allergies, food sensitivity, and food intolerance tests.
Dr. Pedro Arquero is Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, magna cum laude, by the Complutense University of Madrid. He is also specialist in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery by the Carlos Chagas Medical Postgraduate Institute of Rio de Janeiro. He has also had the honor to be a member of Dr. Ivo Pitanguy’s team, who is a world reference in the field of plastic surgery. Currently Dr. Arquero is the President of AECEP (Spanish Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery).
Dr. Arquero has more than 20 years of experience performing plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine treatments. During this time, he has performed over 5,000 surgeries most common here being rhinoplasties, mamographies, liftings, etc. He has also carried out hundreds of facial treatments such as peelings, laser treatments, and infiltrations of botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, or vitamins. This in-depth knowledge on the skins’ needs before and after treatments or surgeries, combined with his perfectionist spirit are what have led Dr. Arquero to consider creating the Medical Beauty line. He realized that if a cosmetic treatment was performed complementing the clinical treatments, it greatly improved the end result and sped the post-surgery recovery.
Since 2007, and for over two years, a great team of professionals has worked hand in hand to create this advanced medical cosmetic line. This team is made up by biochemists, cosmetic formulation and manufacturing experts, and a select group of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine doctors and experts led by Dr. Arquero. Perhaps our greatest virtue has been knowing how to bring together all this knowledge with a selection of specific ingredients of maximum purity. As a result of this union, a complete line of products was created. The perfect combination of these two elements allows us to achieve the best results.
